I prefer to wait until I have a little bit more room. While I do GE4 in all of my cities from the moment I unlock IA, I've started holding off building this for a few eras. But just when you are about to delete it, it will give up some FPs, goods, or rogues. ToR- I have a love/hate relationship with the ToR. If you change your mind, you can always go back and build it. If you don't like the fighting aspect and only fight casually (or like me to fulfill quests), you can skip it. Hard to say it hasn't been worth the space it takes upĬoA- Are you a fighter? Do you plan to be? If so, you will need/want this. My HS has been at level 10 for about 3 years. Plus it is 'cheap' to level compared to later era buildings. But it is a building you can get early on, so you will have it a long time. For its size, does it give a lot of FPs? No. But it also solves any happiness problem you could have in the early ages without having to buy goods- plus it gives FPs. Some people will hate on it and drone on about how terrible it is. If you are trying to stay true to your era, or don't want to mess with buying later aged goods, the Hagia Sophia can be a solid building. What you will find a consensus on is the Colosseum and Notre Dame. Whether someone searches for a thread where this has been hashed out a million times or people start giving their opinions here, you will find that everyone's opinion is different.
